I hope it either becomes a Christmas Tree Shop or Kohls. It would be a shame to see it sit vacant like Caldor down the road did.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33709921.post-75793594789114492262009-01-22T14:44:00.000-05:002009-01-22T14:44:00.000-05:00Sigh.What a shame, isn't it? I still can't believe...Sigh.

What a shame, isn't it?

I still can't believe the Torrington store is actually closing, THAT's the SECOND time that location closed! First time was when Sears Hardware shut down. Once that store empties, I think the should just demolish the location to save the trouble. It's a BAAAAAAAAAAD location as it is. It's jinxed.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33709921.post-87081860418084806842009-01-19T23:45:00.000-05:002009-01-19T23:45:00.000-05:00Haha I like Greg's comment...Haha I like Greg's comment...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33709921.post-5016359465513526742009-01-19T15:42:00.000-05:002009-01-19T15:42:00.000-05:00At least here in Florida, CompUSA lives on! Severa...At least here in Florida, CompUSA lives on! Several stores throughout Florida were purchased by Tiger Direct and used as their retail outlets. From the outside, the stores are identical to their former CompUSA selves. However on the inside, it a much more spartan experience. It kind of makes you feel like you are at a flea market. There are lots of plain brown boxes with labels that say things like "four port hub". They do have some good deals on name brand items. At least here in Jacksonville, we still have CompUSA. Also, a new Best Buy has just opened at St. John's Town Center. Add to that a new HHGReg has recently opened near the Avenues Mall. HHGreg is kind of like a Best Buy, but a little less flash. Now if I just had some money to spend!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33709921.post-75895199858458885712009-01-19T12:09:00.000-05:002009-01-19T12:09:00.000-05:00"everything must go"--another Steely Dan shout out..."everything must go"--another Steely Dan shout outgreg8370https://www.blogger.com/profile/14792359274278913383noreply@blogger.com
